Reliance Industries said on August 18 that it procured a 60 percent stake in online drug store Netmeds for Rs 620 crore in an arrangement that pits India’s biggest organization straightforwardly against e-business goliath Amazon.

Isha Ambani, Director, Reliance Retail Ventures, said in an announcement, “The expansion of Netmeds improves Reliance Retail’s capacity to give great quality and moderate medicinal services items and administrations, and it widens the e-commerce  trade and satisfies fundamental needs of purchasers.” 

 In a late-night recording, RIL said that it will likewise get a 100% direct value responsibility for subsidiaries, Tresara Health, Netmeds Market Place, and Dadha Pharma Distribution.
