The Apple’s new upcoming iPhone 12 Series are already having so many rumours, speculations and leaks. It is yet to be launched and it may come next month.
iPhone 12 will not come in cheap and will be costlier than the existing iPhone 11, a tipster shared this information on the Chinese microblogging website Weibo. It was expected to come at a price somewhere between $699(₹ 52,500) and $749(₹56,000), but now the tipster says that the iPhone 12 Bill Of Materials(BOM) has gone up due to the 5G support, adding to it tipster also revealed that Apple may not be able to complete its 80 Million Units Shipments this year lacking by around 10 Million.
The tipster from a Chinese microblogging site stated on the Weibo website, that the price of the iPhone 12 will be more than the iPhone 11. Being said that, it’s cost will go up by around $50 due to its Bill Of Materials(BOM) including 5G modem, RF, time of Flight Sensor, OLED Screen, and etc., components. All of this results in iPhone 12 price to reach $749.
In addition to this, the Tipster also said that Apple may lack behind of 80 Million Units shipment target by 10 Million Units this year because of the A14 production delays. And Apple already started to remove accessories from the box starting from there Apple Watch Series 6 to cut the costs to lower prices but this won’t be the case with the iPhone 12.
