Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series is launched on August 5. The series unraveled the smartphones Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 ultra with new Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy buds live, Galaxy Watch 3, and Galaxy Tab7 Tablet series. Both the smartphone features differ in the Note line which has an included S Pen Stylus.
As Samsung did last year, Samsung has announced two new Galaxy Note devices. Samsung is trying to make the “Ultra” push higher is specs which are have upgraded features and differ from the regular Galaxy Note 20.
Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy Note 20 Ultra
The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 is priced at $999.9 (nearly Rs 75,400) for the 5G variant with 128 GB storage and the Samsung Note 20 Ultra is priced at $1299.99 (nearly Rs 97,500) for the base 128 GB variant in the U.S. while, in India, the prices are not set yet, but the Galaxy Note Ultra will be expensive in the lot and Galaxy Note 20 to be a bit cheaper. The bookings for pre-order start today i.e 6 August.
The Note 20 will come with a flat 6.7-inch full HD+ display 1080 with AMOLED panel, the Note Ultra will come with a curved 6.9 inch larger full QHD+ display with dynamic Amoled display. Both of them will come with Exynos 990 chipset while the new Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865+ processor but it will maybe not be available for Indian users, coming with 5G support in select markets.
Note 20 will come with 8GB RAM and 256 GB Storage and Note Ultra will come with 8GB of RAM but the Note 20 Ultra 5G comes with 12GB of RAM with storage options of up to 512GB. Packed with 4,300 mAH battery the Note 20 is IP68 certified and packed with 4,500 mAH the Note Ultra is upgraded with an Ultra-wideband technology for transferring files faster. Both smartphones have 25W Fast charging. The Note 20 has triple cameras at the back and a single camera at the front inside the punch hole that would include a 12-megapixel main sensor paired with a 12-megapixel angel shooter but with a 64-megapixel telephoto camera and 10-megapixel selfie camera. The Note Ultra have primary 108-megapixel sensor at the back along with two 12-megapixel cameras one for wide angular shooting and the other for telephoto shooting.
Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7+
The new Tab S7 and S7+ are launched as the alternative for the Apple iPads Pro range. Tab S7 will come to an 11 inch LCD while the larger one, the Tab S7+ will come 12.4 Amoled panel. Both equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ processor and packed with 8,000mAh on the Tab S and massive 10,090 mAH battery on the bigger one. The Plus model has the larger screen, therefore its footprint is also larger – although this bigger tablet is the slimmer of the two by a tiny amount.
Both inculcated with a 13 mega pixel camera and a 5 mega pixel dual cameras at the back and a 8 mega pixel camera at the front.
Galaxy Buds Live
The new Samsung wireless earphones are tiny bean-shaped earbuds that cancel noise once inserted into the ears. Along with 60mAH batteries in each of them and battery support of 472mAH in the earpods case which offers 29 hours of battery life and each earbud having 8 hours of battery life – states Samsung. Featured by three microphones for improved calling and a 12mm drivers that have been turned on by AKG. Connectable via Bluetooth and water-resistant. Further, it will be available in three color variants i.e Mystic Black, Mystic White, and Mystic Bronze.
Galaxy Z Fold 2
This is Samsung’s third foldable device and is a successor. This time Samsung has worked upon the display to make it sturdier and more durable and more reliable. In it you will get a tall design that will open up with a larger display on the inside, the inner display is 7.6 inches and the outer display is 6.2 inches featuring a 120 Hz refresh rate. With a Flex Mode has seen on the Z flip and usage of a super-thin layer of glass instead of plastic for folding makes the device slimmer and more enhanced.
Galaxy Watch 3
The new Watch features a round dial with a rotating bezel and the Mystic bronze color scheme. Featuring a 55 mm variant with a 1.4-inch display protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass packed with 340 mAH battery and a 41 mm variant with 1.2 inch 360×360 pixels with Amoled display packed with a 247 mAH battery. Comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. Compiled with MIL-STD 810G standards along with a dual-core Exynos 9110 CPU. Water-resistant and with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support as well as offers eSim support. Further available in two color variants i.e Mystic Silver and Mystic Black.
