Xiaomi launched its new premium OLED TV, it comes with a Full HD panel with a high refresh rate and color accuracy. The company launched the MI TV Lux OLED Transparent Edition as a part of the celebration of Xiaomi’s 10th anniversary. With an edge to edge transparent self-luminous display transmitting images, this TV brings a new way to view on-screen visual content which was previously seen in only science fiction films. With narrow bezels on the top and round base sides creating an ultra-immersive viewing experience.

The new edition is priced at RMB 49,999 will be going on sale in China on August 16 at Xiaomi’s home market, while it is available for pre-order on mi.com. Apparently the new Edition is the Xiaomi third big drop during its 10 year anniversary the second and first drops include Mi 10 Ultra and Redmi K 30 Ultra

Features of Mi TV Lux Transparent Edition

Mi TV Kux Transparent Edition is the world’s first mass-produced transparent TV which is a combination of ‘cutting edge display technology and exquisite industrial design states Xiaomi. The device is 5.7 mm thin and weighs 24.96 Kg and features a 55-inch full-screen display with 120Hz refresh rate and MEMC Motion compensation, on the top of it provides consumer with smoother and clearer representation. Powered by an A73CPU and Mali G52 MC1 GPU WITH 3GB RAM AND 32 GB Storage. When the device is turned off it merely looks like a glass display and being a transparent TV it feels like that the image is floating and there is no backlight.

The edition also supports AI Master Smart Engine with audio which allows the device to intelligently detect the type of content playing also it takes audio performance on an upgraded level with the support of Dolby Atmos. Supports 20 optimization algorithms and dedicated optimization for 5 major use scenarios. Moreover, Xiaomi has used 9650 custom made Chip for the Mi TV new edition.

With the help of a 10bit panel displays 1.07 billion color combination and the TV offers “an extra-wide color spectrum far beyond what the human eye can perceive” along with color spectrum it leverages a DCI P3 93 percent color spectrum. The 1ms fast response rate also makes gaming truly fast and smooth. Other than this the TV runs custom made on MIUI for TV.
