Google is foreseeing COVID-19 won’t disappear unexpectedly early. Keeping in mind it’s employees’ safety and security Google extends work from home until July 2021.
Google’s choice may speak to a tipping point in the move for organizations to permit their employees to work from home. Or on the other hand, perhaps they’re seeing creation levels rise due to telecommuting. This choice may urge different organizations to take action accordingly, clearing another future for individuals who need to telecommute.
Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai sends an email to his employees expressing, “To give employees the ability to plan ahead, we are extending our global voluntary work from home option through June 30, 2021, for roles that don’t need to be in the office. I hope this will offer the flexibility you need to balance work with taking care of yourselves and your loved ones over the next 12 months.”
The declaration from Google is amazing, as it influences around 200,000 enterprises such as Twitter, Facebook. Considering the organization’s high status and notoriety, its arrangement offers the green light for different organizations that may have been perched going back and forth choosing whether or not to expand the work-from-home strategies to now follow Google’s lead.
