It is a Social Media super application that was launched on July 5, 2020, by president Venkaiah Naidu on the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima bringing a push to ‘Make in India’ movement.
With India’s ongoing prohibition on 59 Chinese applications, including the virally well known ‘TikTok’, has opened up a void in the vernacular web-based social networking space. Many applications such as ShareChat, Roposo, Bolo Indya, Chingari, and the preferences are attempting to fill which has prompted a few Indian applications coming to surface and picking up the fame they required.
It is developed by the volunteers of the ‘Art Of Living Organisation’. The app is available in 8 languages and it nearly crossed 5 lakh downloads within a week. It is an indigenously designed app that ensures that your data stays safe from sticky fingers or prying eyes. One great advantage of having this application is that all the serves are in India which makes it even more quick and comfortable.
It will offer highlights, for example, a web-based social networking content feed, audio, and choices to make sound and video calls. The application is said to have been altogether made in India and has been recorded on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store by Sumeru Software Solutions – the advertisers behind The Art of Living association’s smartphone applications.
However, the app ratings are getting down as it just got a 3.4-star review on google play store and reviews aren’t great either because a lot of people cannot sign-in on the application, but the volunteers admit that they are working on the matter and will fix the situation it as soon as possible.
By far it has almost 1 million downloads which are a live example of how an app which is made in India and backed up by the President is growing along with successful applications like Facebook and Whatsaap.
It is a great application for our county as it will take the country’s venture from local to global in no time with the support of people.
