Apple Store Online now in India, Starting from 23 September, Tim Cook’s Tweet Reveals.

Apple Store Online will launch on September 23, Apple Press Release and CEO Tim Cook’s Tweets confirmed on September 18 early morning IST. The Apple Online Store will offer all the products from iPhones to MacBooks to iPad’s to Apple Watches.

Apple Products as of now are being sold through the Apple Resellers and e-commerce websites like Amazon, Flipkart, and others. Bloomberg reported that Apple is trying to bring Apple Store Online in India before Diwali, But Apple chooses a date of September 23 for the Indian Online Store launch. Apple planned to launch the Online Store much before then this but due to the coronavirus outbreak, everything got delayed by a bit.

What difference does this makes?

You’ll be able to buy the products online through Apple Store Online. Customers can access to Apple Specialists who can guide users with purchases and provide support guidance directly from Apple, which includes online support in English and phone support in Hindi and English.

Now customers will be able to custom configure Mac’s at the time of purchasing, along with Student discounts on the Mac’s and iPad’s with financing options, and a trade-in program to trade your older devices. Apple Care+ can now be purchased online extending the warranty with up to 2 years of technical support and accidental damage cover.

Apple stated that all the orders will ship with contactless delivery fulfilled by BlueDart within 24 to 72 hours of placing the order. Apple also plans to offer sessions focused on photography and music, as well as add-ons like gift wraps and custom engraving, likely to make gift-giving on Diwali more appealing.

Bloomberg’s report said that Online Stores in India are just the first step taken by Apple, the opening of physical retail locations starting from Mumbai, and then Bengaluru from next year.
